Detail Narrative Description of Project:

The Contract for True On-Line Web-Based Software Development, Nationwide Networking (Internet & Intranet) and Hardware Infrastructure Development, Deploying Necessary Manpower, Hardware and Network Maintenance, Data Entry, Operation, Processing, Printing and Collection and Depositing of MV Taxes & Fees Through On-Line Banking System for Bangladesh Road Transport Authority.

CNS Limited developed a new system for Collection and Depositing of MV Taxes & Fees Through On-Line Banking System which used Oracle RDBMS implemented on n-Tier Architecture ensuring OLTP (Online Transaction Processing) and high availability of data at terminal ends. The Scope of work also includes maintenance, support and implementing the system in all 64 districts. Training was also provided to the Collection Clerks and other related officials to carry out the day-to-day operations in the system. The Project has successfully passed the milestones marking Development, Implementation and Training Phase of the Software as well as implementation of a robust Hardware and Network system in all the districts under the project's jurisdiction, The New ON-LINE software is up and running in all the 64 districts and collection process are being issued and controlled from the same. Presently CNS Limited is providing maintenance services under the contract.

System Requirement Study, System Analysis, Design, Development of True On-Line Web-Based Software Development & Up-gradation, Nationwide Networking (Internet & Intranet) and Hardware Infrastructure Development, Deploying Necessary Manpower, Hardware and Network Maintenance, Data Entry, Operation, Processing, Printing. Implementation in all the districts across Bangladesh, Supply and Installation of all required Hardware and Networking peripherals, Internet and Intranet, Supply of all required Equipments. Deploy necessary manpower for smooth operation and maintenance of the system.
